Christian Tesch is a multihyphenated artist. He is an actor, singer, dancer, director, choreographer, writer, and producer. On top of that he is the Founder, Co-Artistic Director, Managing Director, Front of House Director, and Accessibility Director. When Christian isn’t working he is most likely still working on other side projects he is working on currently. But if Christian truly isn’t working he is still gathering inspiration for his next project while he watches YouTube, Movies or TV Shows. Christian is a born and raised Minnesotan, and proud of it! He got his high school education through The Performing Institute of Minnesota where he received a musical theater endorsement, and his Bachelor of Fine Arts from Minnesota State University, Mankato. There is no where else Christian would rather be and trust us when we say he’s tried. He spent 2 years working for the Walt Disney World Company down in Florida where he did the Disney College program where he had the high honor of being a cast member on the now defunct Galactic Starcruiser. He however left that behind to follow his passion of creating great art with as many people as possible in the great land of ten thousand lakes.

Katlyn Taylor is a multidisciplinary artist with a passion for creativity across many fields. She began her journey as a competitive dancer and contributed choreography to her high school musicals and dance team. A lifelong musician, Katlyn has been involved in band and choir since the fourth grade and continues to make music with fellow artists in the Twin Cities. She has also had the privilege of helping bring new theatrical productions to life in the area. In her free time, Katlyn enjoys doing puzzles, taking walks, baking, and hosting gatherings. 

Katlyn holds a degree in Music Therapy from Indiana Wesleyan University and is a Board-Certified Music Therapist, trained in Neurologic Music Therapy. She actively creates both visual and audio materials for her professional work and for HCPA. She currently serves as the Technical Director, Chief Financial Officer, and Promotional Director for HCPA, and is thrilled to be collaborating with such a vibrant and creative community.

Isaac Gonzales is a Minneapolis-based artist whose primary performing background is in acting and improv comedy, but loves learning new skills and ways to contribute to the arts. After graduating with a History degree from the University of Wisconsin La Crosse, he moved to Minneapolis and began auditioning and doing backstage work with the Guthrie and teaching swimming lessons at the YMCA. 

Currently, Isaac is using his history degree to help as a dramaturg for Headwaters to create more complex and informed works of Art. Outside of Headwaters, Isaac loves starting new side art projects in various forms. Overall, Isaac is trying to maintain the “new artist” feeling to innovate his own art and to find ways to learn from others.

Ryan Kovar is a professional artist with a wild overactive imagination. He specializes in illustration, graphic design, animation and performing on stage. After being diagnosed with an Autism Spectrum Disorder at an early age, he turned to drawing as a way to express visually what he had a difficult time expressing verbally. Since then in his free time he loves drawing everything from funny cartoon animals, Dinosaurs and fantastical otherworldly creatures. After earning his associates degree in graphic design, he went on to earn his BFA in film and animation from Rochester Institute of Technology. Post graduation Ryan has performed on stage in several local theatre productions and has worked as a freelance artist. He’s created art and designs for various media, including magazines, books, print advertising, short films and a cartoon series. His animated thesis film, “ Hunt or Be Hunted” has been featured in multiple film festivals around the country. His First childrens book “ Wildly Perfect.” By author Brooke McMahan was published in 2021.
