HCPA Team Member

We are looking for people to join the HCPA team. HCPA needs creative individuals who are wanting to get in on the ground floor of a brand new performing arts organization that could be helped molded by your ideas.

Are you an artist or creative mind looking to collaborate, grow, and make meaningful art? The Headwaters Collective of Performing Arts is a dynamic start-up organization seeking volunteers who want to be part of a bold, inclusive community dedicated to the performing arts.

We’re especially looking for individuals with technical skills, but we welcome anyone with a passion for art and creativity! Whether you’re a playwright, director, actor, or someone with fresh ideas and energy, there’s a place for you here.

Opportunities Include:

- Managing and growing our social media presence

- Assisting with technical aspects like lighting, sound, or video editing

- Writing, directing, or performing in new projects

- Designing sets, costumes, or promotional materials

- Collaborating on projects and helping us bring them to life

This is a position with room for growth as we grow as a company! If you are interested in pursuing a career in the performing arts that isn’t mentioned above, we are open to discussing what you are interested in pursuing within the organization. You’ll gain hands-on experience, build connections, and contribute to the growth of a unique artistic community.

Core Job Responsibilities:

- Responding to messages in a timely and professional manner from guests, clients, and other HCPA staff

- Finding work to do within HCPA to help the progress of the organization

- Attend Meetings

- Other responsibilities that would be discussed between you and HCPA

Education, Experience, and Skills:

Please note that while the below qualifications are preferred for this position, we do not expect any one person to necessarily have all the items listed. We highly encourage people with a wide range of education, experience, and skill levels to apply for this position.

- High school degree - required

- College courses

- 2+ years of similar experience (or a combination of training, education, and experiences that provide the required knowledge and abilities)

- Strong and detailed-oriented communication, listening, problem-solving, and organizational skills.

- Self-motivated, extremely reliable, ability to work with clear instructions.

If you don’t have some of these but are very passionate about diving into the work of your proposed field then HCPA is open to hearing about your passion. If yo uare strongly motivated to pursue a certain aspect, and are willing to put the time and research to be successful in your position then we can make something work.

Pay:

HCPA is still a fairly new organization and are still trying to get everything up and running. Although if you were to join the team, you would not be paid at this moment. The goal is to get HCPA to a point where we can pay our team members. HCPA gets to that point, negotiations will begin of your pay rate.
